WHAT TO EXPECT
What are your services like?
Everything we do at Long Lake, including our worship services, is designed to glorify God and build up believers. During each service, you’ll have the opportunity to join us in singing uplifting music centered on the Person of Jesus Christ. Here at Long Lake, we make the clear preaching and teaching of God’s Word a high priority. You can expect to hear truths from the Bible that are applicable to your everyday life and necessary for your spiritual growth. At Long Lake Community Bible Church we believe that the only “authority” lies in the accurately explained Text of Scripture.
What’s available for my kids?
Nursery is provided for each service at Long Lake. The mother is welcome to sit with her infant or young child through the service, stay with him/her in our nursery room (with audio feed of the service and a window for viewing), or leave him/her with a trained nursery worker who will happily watch your little one througout the service.
On Wednesday nights at 6:30 we have an exciting and engaging children’s program we call Kids’ Club. Here the kids will spend time learning about God and His Word, singing exciting songs from scripture, and enjoy time playing various games together.
On Sundays we welcome children of all ages in our upstairs worship service. We are thankful to have children’s ministry workers available to provide an exciting ministry for any children who may attend.
What should I wear?
You are our guest and we will be delighted to see you however you are dressed. A wide variety of dress preferences (casual to formal attire) are represented week-to-week by our regular attenders, church members, and pastor.
Will I be asked to give money?
At Long Lake Community Bible Church we stress the “offering of the heart” (Romans 12:1). While our services include a time for our members to worship God through their financial support of the ministry (by giving tithes and offerings), we do not stress or ask for this financial offering. Before anyone gives money to LLCBC, we want them to first give their heart to the Lord.
As a guest, please do not feel any pressure to give financially.
